this, you need a life! I find myself using the Zoom primarily when I want
to play electric and can't plug into my amp/pedals and I use headphones.
I found the sound not that good when pumped through my amp and played
"live".

lot of fun with mine and I also use it as a headphone amp. No, it's not
studio quality but with a bit of tweaking it can produce some quite usable
sounds. For around a hundred bucks it's hard to beat though the Korg AX-1 is
also a great inexpensive guitar multi fx unit. But once you get the hang of
it the Zoom 505 is much easier to program and tweak. Here's another site
