I got some of Fender's vintage noiseless pickups and I have a few
small problems. The neck and middle pickup are out of phase, and the
bridge pickup is a lot quieter compared to the other pickups. Here is
the schematic I used http://www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdfs/ADSTRAT/SD0101000BPg2.pdf
I have checked the wiring against the schematic so many times that I'm
sure it's not a wiring problem. I did do something differently when
wiring however. There is a jumper between two prongs. i think they are
the 3rd and 5th but I'm not sure what to call them, and when i had
this jumper connected the tone knob for the middle pickup would act as
a volume knob for the bridge pickup. I disconnected that and
everything was the same except now it doesnt control the volume for
the bridge pickup which is the way i wanted it. The low volume was a
problem with or without this jumper. Another thing that i have noticed
is that the insulation on the neck and middle pickup wires are
different. What i mean by this is say you have the pickups screwed
into the pickguard and are holding the pickguard so that the prong
with the pots is pointing up and the other prong is pointing down
(basically just turn the schematic 90 degrees counter clockwise) then
the black wire on the middle pickup connects to the actual pickup
further to the left then the white one does. On the neck pickup this
is the opposite. On the neck pickup it is the white wire that is
further to the left then the black pickup. I say further to the left
because on both pickups both wires go to the left after going through
the hole thing in the middle. On the bridge pickup, which has a yellow
wire instead of black, the yellow wire is further to the left than the
black wire. This leads me to think initially that the insulation was
put on incorrectly on the middle pickup, but the middle pickup and
bridge pickup aren't out of phase so that then makes me think the neck
pickup was wired incorrectly. By the way I'm not sure which of the
pickups goes in the middle or neck spot because they are the same
besides that one little wire switch thing. Could it be possible that
they are switched, and would that make a difference. I'm not really
worried about the out of phase problem, but i really want to fix the
quiet bridge pickup.

Oh and i just noticed that on this picture
http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/regular/0/9/2/437092.jpg
it shows the white wire being further to the left than the black wire
for the middle and neck pickups, and the yellow is further to the left
than the black on the bridge pickup. Maybe the middle pickup is then
wired out of phase, but the problem with this is that the middle and
bridge pickup don't sound out of phase when played together... just
the middle and neck.

This schematic diagram may be more helpful in terms of tracing what you
have:
http://www.guitarnuts.com/wiring/stockstrat.php
(scroll down to see the diagram). This one, and a few others I have seen,
doesn't have the jumper you're referring to. But the wiring varies a bit
from one Strat to the next. Based on your description, I suspect there's a
grounding problem somewhere.

I put a set of these into my 62 ri - sweeet p/ups!

I too used a Fender schematic, but I used the one for the model guitar
I have. Only thing I added was a treble bleed on the V knob.

I have no answers for you regarding your issues, other than this - I
too had problems with the first set I bought and had to return them.
The store replaced them no problem.

I can't see a ground wire to the output jack in that schematic.
