I noticed the other day when playing along to The Cowboy Song from Thin
Lizzy's Live and Dangerous that the guitars on the song were tuned
differently... The same thing seems to be so on all the songs on the
album...

Does anyone know what tuning it is?

I seem to recall that they tuned down a semitone to E flat...?

According to this person they usually tuned down a half step when playing
live.

Thin Lizzy was always a half step down,
you would be playing the Cowboy Song in A tuning a half step down. Thin
Lizzy with Brian Robertson was the best.
