How do you tune a guitar differently then the traditional tuning . Example:
let's say i wanted to tune to open G . What do I do ? Please email me , any and
all help is appreciated.

Open G is (from low to high) DGDGBD

other popular tunings: DADGBD

DADF#AD

to get to Open G, tun 6th DOWN to D
5th DOWN to G
4th is normal
3rd is normal
2nd is normal
1st DOWN to D

as you lower the sixth string, pluck it the same time as you to the D string
(4th). Stop when it sounds the same, but an octave lower. Do the same as you
tune the "high" E down to D.... play the D string and tune the E down until
it's an octave above the D string. Then you can fret the top string (the
bass, which is now a D) on the fifth fret to get your G on the second string.
