hi all,
I am looking around for a new guitar to keep for years.
As 'old' guitarist i am subject to this well known phantasm of 'having
a Martin guitar" and then why not?
So the new range is attractive for the price, but is that we call a
Martin yet? I mean do we considere the D28 to be the floor quality
criteria OR can we admit that times and techniques are changing for
better results? Purist or not?
Well, this being said, should the DXME be a good choice?
Thanks for advices, experience and feed back.
Pierre.

NO, you should only get the D-100 deluxe. For $110K, you can't go wrong.

But seriously, play it first and if you like it...go with it. I have a
custom D-15 and love it.

Hi Pierre,

A little late replying to this but ...

Like ME said, play it, if you like it great. If you fall in love with
it, even better. I've had my Martin D12-28 since '75 ... and it just
sounds wonderful. Of course, its been beat to hell over the years from
all the playing but that's really what is was for :-)

No, do not buy this guitar. Buy a D-28!
