Acoustic Guitar Event of the Year 2010
From 30. July to 01. August 2010 some of the finest acoustic
fingerpicking guitarists will visit Denmark for the Danish Folk, Blues
& Ragtime Guitar Festival 2010. You can meet Woody Mann (USA), Peter
Finger (D), Hans Theessink (NL), David Laibman (USA), Lasse Johansson
(S), John James (UK), Kenn Lending (DK), H.P. Lange (DK), Ton Engels
(NL), Nick Katzman (USA) & Thomasina Winslow (USA), Paul Banks (DK) as
well as Duck Baker (USA).

During the 3 day Festival they will perform in concerts as well as
giving Workshops/Master Classes exploring the guitar styles of Blind
Blake, Robert Johnson, Rev. Gary Davis, the Mississippi Blues, Scott
Joplins ragtime pieces arranged for guitar and much more…A “must”, if
you are into acoustic fingerpicking guitar playing….

Besides Concerts and Master Classes the Festival will also boast an
art exhibition, a guitar exhibition, workshops on lutherie with Danish
luthier Jakob Reitz, a guitar bookstore and much more…all situated in
some of the most beautiful surroundings Denmark has to offer.
