I am considering buying a pedal steel.
I have wanted one all my life but never had the time to take up a new
instrument.
I am primarily a guitar player and also play bass, banjo and keyboard.
I know and understand most music rheory.
What scares me is having both feet, both knees and both hands going at
the same time.
How difficult is it to learn basic pedal steel?
I'm retired though I am playing in two bands, I still have the time to
put into it so long as it doesn't take several years.

It is best to have some one on one instruction.
Even an intelligent seasoned musician would have a rough go just on
there own.
Join a steel guitar club if possible ..
What location are you.
