Hi,
I've an old Zoom 9000 which worked fine till yesterday.
But after 15mn of use, it stops working.
Power led is ok and the screen always display "9000" but nothing else happends.
There's no way to reach effect menus or anything else :-(
The "DC in" has a bad contact but work normaly.

Yes, this can be repaired by opening the unit with a screwdriver and locating the Zoom chip in the bottom of the PCB.
Plug in the adaptor and a guitar cable to the input jack.
Take a peice of electrical wire and touch one end to the metal housing around the input jack. Touch the other end to the pins on the lower left corner of the Zoom chip. The pin second from the extreme left of the bottom row is the one you want to brush with the wire. This will reset the unit. All user settings will be wiped, but it will function again.
