Headphone recommendations for POD/V-amp

I am looking into purchasing an amp-simulator (POD or V-amp) and I was
wondering if anyone had some recommendations for a good set of headphones.
Ideally, I would like to spend < $60, but I do not know how realistic that
is.

Brian,

I've been pretty satisfied with the Sony 7506 for a number of years. I
recently bought a pair of AKG K240 Studios that I like too. Both of
these models run around $89- $99, but I believe it would be worth the
extra $$$.

The AKG-240DF are the best headphones that I've tried, but they cost a
bit more than that. They are completly flat from 20 to 20k.

Try Fostex t-20's or t-30's. Much cheaper, nice phones.!

For cheap, the Koss KTX-Pro are excellent headphones for only around $20.
You can order them directly from their site at www.koss.com . They are
similar to the popular Radio Shack Optimus Pro-25 headphones that were made
by Koss for Radio Shack but discontinued unfortunately. While they are
small open eared headphones, they have excellent sound quality, are fairly
comfortable for wearing for long periods of time, and the bass response on
them is absolutely incredible. Very few close ear headphones I've tried
have the bass response of the KTX-Pro's. With that said, for alot more $$
the Koss Pro-4AA's are very good as well. I also agree with someone else's
recommendation of the Fostex T-20 or T-30 headphones. Their T-series
headphones are quite nice and fairly inexpensive.
