Just wondering if anyone has any good ones? The only one I know is 'Even
After Dinner Giant Boys Eat'.

Anyone made up their own, or care to have a go?

I came up with this:

'Every Alternate Day Good Blokes Exercise'. (OK, OK - I only spent 5 minutes
thinking about it.) I feel certain others can do better!

I didn't make it up, but learned it this way:

Eat All Day Get Big Easy

Can't remember the source.

And for electric shop, the resistor color code... bad boys rape our young

Let's see, for guitar strings...

The one for planets I learnt in school was:

mighty vikings eat mouldy jam sitting under new potatoes

lol memorable if nothing else =)

Doug, did you go to high school in Hobbs, NM? I thought my teacher made
the one up about electric color coding. :)

How about "Every Afternoon Dave Gets Better Equipment".

As for this one, I remember it well and we also had "Get Some Now" at the
end for the tolerances gold, silver, neutral.

How long have YOU been around, Ed? I remember that being the catch
phrase when I was about 12-13 years old (a commercial for
Alka-Seltzer). And I sign myself,

Dwight,

That saying is pretty universal, LOL. Especially in the military.

It may just be me, but I find acronyms really slow the learning
process.

Its only a 6 sequence progression that is easy to learn, we all learnt
how to count to 10 with no acronyms, so six should be easy!

I find what works better is if you set your screen saver password to
EADGBE, and put it on a shortish timeout, therefore whenever you use
your computer you have to type it in. Also, stuff like passwords to
your outlook or login to windows are good and within in a week you'll
know them for good (as long as you use the computer!)

My screen saver password used to be

1ionian2dorian3phrygian4lydian5mixolydian6aeolian7locrian

It was a little tough at first, but within a week I was rattling it
out. Its like involing guiar in your day to day life, that will take
20secs to write then its back to work or email or whatever you use ure
pc for, but it really helps to burn it into your mind, quickly.

Aye, Jon

The one that stuck in my mind, even though it's in reverse order, is:
Easter bunnies get drunk after Easter.

However, it's now been replaced by the one about Eddie!
