I just had a caffeine-fueled insight. For slide I tune to open D, and I just
realised I can get any modal feel I want just by starting on the right fret
in the diatonic D scale. Eg for Dorian I start by playing a chord, arpeggio,
whatever on the second fret (maybe avoid the maj 3rd note), and finally
resolve to that fret at the end on the noodle. Instant new age pap! Is that
useful or what.

I saw a craigslist post this morning looking for a
slide dorian player. 420 friendly, no attitudes,
must have professional equipment and reliable
transportation.

I'd say, you're in.

I don't see how I can go wrong, unless they want big hair and spandex.

Did it mention anything about a relationship with Mary Jane?

She's getting old.
She's now 420.
