well...im not a genius and i dont know much, but thought id add a possible
solution. if you have your guitar near your computer turn the monitor off,
or the whole thing. it takes the hum out of my amp and distortion pedal
every time. so...if what the other guys said doesnt work and your near a
computer try turning it all off.
