Has anybody out there played through/gigged with a Euphonic Audio iAmp 350
Combo? I'm looking for a small, good sounding combo with headroom to play
small rooms, recording, and acoustic gigs, and this sounds like it would be
an excellent little amp. Any opinions or experience would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mojo

I have had my EA350 combo for about 6 months now and find it just what I
need for my present situation (church, small, clubs, DI'ed through P.A. for a
couple of outdoor gigs). In fact, I have been told to turn it down a couple of
times - it's so clean that you don't realize how much and how far you are
throwing your sound.
A bit pricey but solidly built, infinitely adjustable with the sliding EQ
setup (starting to sound like a salesman here). I have also used it with my
acoustic guitar and keyboards with good results. Anyway, I give it a hearty
recommendation.

I was very keen on this amp as a replacement for my Trace Elliot 200watt
into 4x10 combo, for obvious weight reasons, so I tried one with the extra
extension 1x10 cab in my local shop (large area) and wasn't too impressed.
It seemed to lack a bit of bottom end and was nowhere near as loud as the
Trace Elliot. It was easy to get the speakers flapping with too much bass
boost and the output clip indicator was easily set off. Maybe a second test
with my own Bass (Wal) would be useful. The size of the combo is amazing, if
it wasn't such a high price I would buy one and keep the Trace Elliot as
well. The extra extension cab. makes a big difference to the volume, it's
almost a necessity. I'm sure this would be an excellent recording amp, but
for now I'll stick with the fantastic but heavy Trace Elliot and save the
extortionate £1700 in the UK.

Thanks for the input. I bit the bullet and ordered one. I should have it in
tomorrow. I'll post a review after I use it a few times.

I have no idea why people seem to think they can take a box with much
less cone area and box volume and just by driving it with megawatts get
ot to act like a much bigger box.

I don't like moving an SVT around but if I need to be super loud, well
that's the easiest way to do it.

I'm not looking to get "super loud" or get it to "act like a much bigger
box". I have 2 Bag End (4x10 &1x15) cabinets and a GK 1000 for those
applications. I simply want a small combo for small rooms, acoustic gigs and
studio work.

I personally feel that an SVT is overkill. Yes, they sound good, but when
that much volume is required, I let the PA system handle it. This keeps the
stage levels down and allows the sound man to do his job and get a good
balance out front.
