34" set-in maple neck, mahogany body, 24 frets with wicked cool
12th-fret marker, EMG pick-ups, S-Tek bridge, Grover tuners, glossy
tuxedo black with abalone binding all the way around.
Best bass I've ever held in my hands, and it's mine all mine. It's so
well-appointed and well-balanced, for the first day or so I kept
forgetting to play it. I just looked at it from various angles in awe.
As in "Awww, DAMN, this is one slammin' bass!"
Now I need a case. Anyone have any suggestions? It should be something
about as safe as Fort Knox.
This would be your best choice:

My Alembic came with one of their cases back in the 1970s. I probably
could've driven a truck over that case. Very heavy, but you can now get the
cases with wheels.
Ah, a fellow convert to the Church of Schecter. Welcome.
A comment -- not to rain on your parade, since your axe may be quite
different from mine -- but the missing link on my Elite 5 was the EMG 2-band
preamp (older, with V-V-B-T). I replaced it with a Bart NTMB, and now all is
good in the world. And it's *dead* quiet. Lovely.

I don't own one, but somehow a whole bunch of Schecter basses suddenly
appeared at the local GC. DAMN! They ARE slammin' basses!
