My buddy bought this from his drummer who bought it 28 years
ago and stored it in his closet all that time.

Yeah, interesting design. When I read your topic heading, I thought,
"Oh boy, here comes another wild design with dragons shooting out from
the headstock and something you couldn't possibly sit and play." I was
wrong - elegant. Let us know how it plays...
