preamp for URB

i looking for a preamp to compliment the revloution solo upright bass
pickup.
i need some more gain, compression and some EQ rolled into one.
and don't want to spend a fortune.
preshiate your tips.

I have the K&K dual channel, and it's been a reliable piece of equipment.
Sounds good, and fits on the tailpiece. Plus, I like dealing with Bob G.
He provides great personal service.

I use it with the Bass Max and Double Big Twin pickup system from K&K.

Fishman has a preamp with compression. I suggest avoiding compression.
You are paying so much and working so hard to play an instrument with
real dynamics. Why throw it away?
