What's wrong with 80's Hard Rock ?
I LOVE it. We used to cover Lights and Thunder to open our show with my
band.
It was sooooOOooo Great !

All I can remember about Zebra is that I liked their radio hits, and the
lead singer's voice was not human. Wasn't he the guy that could go
ultrasonic, kind of a Geddy Lee that only dogs could hear?

Yeah, they were kinda like Rush meets Triumph (remember Triumph?). He can
get screetchy. Randy Jackson is his name... I looked 'em up on the internet
last night. Apparently they're still around. See http://www.thedoor.com.

It's amazing to me how much old video is on VH1 Classic.

wow, this is getting nostaligic!
I had all the Zebra, Rush, & Triumph ALBUMS when I was in high school!
Sure enough, they're still playing around Lousiana and Mississippi...maybe
Hawk will catch them @ Crazy8's in Jackson on April 12? Wonder if Randy can
still hit those notes? I always thought they had the bass mixed too low
though.

That's a blast from the past...who's behind the door, right? I remember

when those cats were a local band on Long Island....I think they used
to do some Zeppelin covers too

I think every album in the 80s had the either bass mixed to low, or
overdubbed with a farting synth bass line.

i saw them in houston a year or two back. Small show-great performance by
all three (still original) members.
