I have been in the market looking to upgrade to a quality combo. For my
needs (home practice and occasional pick-up jams) 200 watts should do
the trick. Looking to spend $600 USD. I have been trying out several
amps, I would appreciate any comments.

Nemesis NC210 - I really want to like this amp more. It has more than
enough power. Great tone and EQ. Priced right etc... But every one that
I have tried buzzed. Every one of them. I hate buzz.

Genz-Benz - 2x10 combo. I don't know the model number, but it pumps 175
watts into 2 10's. Very tight focused sound. Simple EQ (bass, Mid and
Treble only). This is an earlier model than was reviewed in the Bass
Player shoot-out. Downside - Heavy and built-in cat scratch post carpet
covering.

Tone Works - 1x15. Didn't get a chance to play it, but it looked a
little flimsy. Bass Player loved it. Anyone else try this one out?

Basic Black - I like the tone of this amp. It just doesn't have enough
power. I was buried by a 40 watt Blues Deluxe in a small room.

Workingman's 15 - Turn off the horn and it sound OK. It really only
seems to have one sound. Knobs seem flimsy, I doubt that they could hold
up over time.

Or should it be a GK 400RB into an Eden D115T?

Just looking for some real world reviews.

Thanks - Tom

Yorkville Bassmaster 200t
2x10 w\ horn
200 watts. Blew my ass away.
Work horse, every review says that it'll never break.
I was gonna get a Nemesis 2x10, but I played them both and the Yorkville,
though cheaper and of a less renown brand, was better. I play lots of
tapping stuff, like Vic Wooten, except of course I'm not as good.
Great Versatility with my active Ibanez 1205.
