Philip K. Dick is the author of many science fiction novels. Most famously, "Do
Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" which was the basis for the movie Blade
Runner (starring Harrison Ford).

I also learned from the following link that his work was the basis for both
Total Recall and Minority Report, which I didn't know:

And 'Paycheck', IIRC. Of course, Alfred Bester was a much better writer
