ahh... now the pedal chain and all the decisions on what to use
will become a long and winding road... keep it as simple as possible (imho).
Basic boost/overdrive.. maybe a delay... then give it a taste.. take it from there.
at least you should have nice cleans available and a good pedal platform.
But yeah it's always nice to kick off everything and have nice cleans
when you want them or need them

Pedals are all too often a crutch for the weak. Few people seem to be
able to discern the line between adding something to the underlying
sound and masking it.
