Love,

Wow, thanks for the warning!
And to think I was getting ready to order a $10,000 "Rocky Special" from Mr.
Roccaforte. Based solely on this post, now I'm just gonna get that Electar 10
from MusicYo instead!

That's slander, and it's libelous. I hope you can prove it.

And you know this how?

That's basically why I filter that asswipe, he's clueless.
I couldn't tell anyone anything about Rocky's circuit designs, but
just judging from the photos I've seen of his chassis and wiring job,
the guy seems to be making carefully crafted amps. I'd consider
buying one if I had some spare money.

Hows it going Mr Morgan. I was one of youre students at DeVry. I graduated
with an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics in Feb 1993. I was in
youre afternoon Digital 1 class, youre afternoon 5th term microprocessors
class, and I think youre 4th term microprocessors class, but I couldnt swear
to that I am not posotive. I came back for EET and aquired some credit hours
but was unable to finish. I had no idea that you were heavily involved with
Radios. So am I. At DeVry I did really well in analouge communications but
was marginal at best in the other classes (including yours nothing
personal). I allways thought you were a very good teacher and a nice (maybe
a little strange sometimes) guy. I must say not as strange as Mr. Duke
though. I can remember you walking around in the Lab singing "Up in the
valley of the jolley green giant". And youre suggestion that they remove the
minute hands from the clocks to improve their apparant accuracy. Any way I
ran across this site while doing a search for "fort worth ham". And one more
thing, I like Surfing Bird. But I was told (it was a little before my time)
that when that song was new a major Fort Worth radio station deemed it the
worst song ever recorded and had a record burning at Forest Park. Funny
thing is they gave quite a bit of sales to them (Sam and the Sham I think
but im not sure about that) by purchasing so many copies of it to burn. I
just wanted you to know that I have a lot of respect for you and I learned a
lot from you. Take care, Damon Duperre

About a year ago there were several very stupid posts in the theory group with my
name and email. I did not post them. I may not be too smart, but I'm not
stupid.
I reported it and was told that it wasn't worth the bother to track the guy down.
Later I saw more posts from this guy in a private group that I was in. This
narrowed it down and I figured out who it was.
I wrote a threatening e mail to him saying that it was a federal offense. I
guess he believed me because they stopped.
you have to copy and paste this link to notepad or something, make it one
big line, and then copy and paste it into your browser.
Cheers,
John.
PS.
Can I have a discount on one of your amps now.. hehe :)

Who knows?
This guy has been causing trouble since he came here.
You know, with all of the email pissing matches,
usenet rage wars, there's allways that one in a
million chance that the amp builder someone decieds
to stalk, slander, has Lawyer customers/freinds/dealer for my amp.
We are talking Lawyers that make their livings
going after hughe corperations.
A single person against these atty's is like this:
imagine taking all the earths water supply,
and making one rather large drop of water.
Next, on the ground you have a smoldering burnt
match head.
Now, imagine what would happen if you were to drop
this hughe droplet on this match?
I am a man of my word,
and he was warned more than once.
Doug
Then again, tracking down his "friend" will track him down...

Sometimes negative things can be positive.
Pt
Well, it fits in with his pattern. On May 10, I got
an email from him vilifying Doug. It definitley came
from a home.com server, and my sendmail logs indicate
the home.com server thought it was really him. So if
that email was a spoof, it was a darned good one. He
has been flaming Doug the whole time.
Of course, Doug fanned the flames a bit, but that's no
excuse for such behavior.
-Miles
My atty checked it out,
no doubt its him.
Doug
Intellignet conversation over the merits/shortcomings of a Roccaforte would
serve us all better, even the maker of the amp.

Nah, I don't think unintended good consequences
would affect much. Maybe knock a few bucks off
the settlenment at most.

Hey, I'll have to discount somebody's amp!
Doug
You're too kind :)

And exactly what credibility was that? It will be so hard to live without.
How about this - Who are you?

I have a 50 watt Roccaforte and ab tested against a 68 plexi and the
Roccaforte sounded better. This is like a great vintage marshall with
more gain on tap and huge low end. Great amp.

Thanks Steve,
