Photo to old painting...

Hi,

I just tried to find a way to make photo to look like old painting. This is
my first practice and I hope you give some critics. And exellent weekend for
all of you...

Very nice. I don't mind the somewhat long download time, but you should try
and improve this!

That was easier than I thought... I did cracks to different gray-filled
layer ... --> mode+opacity... Photoshop don´t need any plugins ;) ... but...
that was just practice, cracks are still in too logical order.

Beautiful work. Which filter or texture did you use to get the cracked
effect?

Believe or not... stained glass. Rest was messing with distorsions, layer
modes, opacitys etc... I was prepared to use week to find out right methods,
but three hour was enough. Now i just have to take a week to make it perfect
;)

Thanks... The final version will be printed on canvas... imagine that. I
don´t really know yet will it work, but I really hope so...

Here is one advertising office what does that (100 meters from my office).
It is guite expensive, something like 80$ A3 -size print. But it is worth of
it. Even normal photograph start looking like painting when you print it to
canvas.

You can actually buy canvas for inkjets- it works, but I'm not overly
impressed with the results I've had. Probably would look decent with a
high end printer, though. Sheila

My only recommendation would be to use a sample pack sheet, and see if the
quality will meet your needs. I got a sample pack free from one source- can't
remember the company- and have a pack from Seth Cole. Be warned- it's real
not cheap. Sheila
