filters

[Gimp]

Hello all. I'm new. could someone point me to some good tutorial sites
that don't use 3rd party filers (eg. candy eye, KPT). I've been hurt and am
unable to purchase 3rd party filters at this time. I'd would like to learn
as much as possible. Also I'm using PhotoShop 3 at this time.

Any help will be greatly apreshated
