Let me know what you think, comments, suggestions?
One question, do you use a graphics pen when you draw these? If so,
what do you recommend?
Keep up the beautiful work!

Neat stuff there, Ken! I would suggest though that your file sizes are
really bigger than they need to be for a website. One that i
looked at was 206K in a 525x802. That is a pretty bloated
file. For those on broadband, it might not be an issue, but
i think that most of the world is still on modem. :/ Me
included. Thank you for the invitation to look at your work!

Yes! JUST DO IT! Do you work with a tablet? I would think
that you should get one NOW if you don't have one already.
Then just start with a blank canvas, pick a brush and a
color, and GO. You will probably see that you feel a lot
freer to express yourself in this way than with paper. This
is so.. eraseable!
You can do a sketch on one layer and then draw over it on
another layer and get rid of your sketch by turning off the
eye. You can make all of your drawing's components on
different layers. I have a drawing that i counted the layers
-- 95 of them!
http://www.myjanee.com/images/contest5/5cb.jpg is its url if
you wanna see it. :) That doesn't mean that all of your
drawings will need that many layers!
If you want to play around with some drawing, I invite you
to join my Art Challenge mailing list by emailing me (janee
at myjanee dot com). I do these challenges once a month (The
next one will be announced July 9.) and they are a great way
to get started doing something that you otherwise maybe have
not done. (You can see my challenge pages for past
challenges at www.myjanee.com/challengemain.htm .
Above all, have fun with this!
Thanks,
Tiffany

Depends what you can afford. They're not cheap, but almost anything
Wacom is worth having. Go for as big a size as you can afford. Though
I've been told, not Genius (thanks Vanda <g>).
Go and have a look and see what they offer at www.wacom.com

Hiya Tiffany!
I have a Wacom Intuos 6x8 and a Graphire (red) <g>. I really
like both of them, though the intuos is much more sensitive
and flexible for my purposes. The Graphire is the one that i
got to go with the laptop computer that i'll be taking along
on my upcoming camping trip (roughing it! Yeah!).
There is a tablet newsgroup at alt.graphics.tablets and you
might well find more useful info there. I just can't say
enough good about my Wacom. It has really changed my life!
I noticed ( I think it was you) another reply to a post that mentioned
the tablet newsgroup. I am subscribed to it now.
Thanks!
