I've been using PS for a long while but have never had the commercial need
to create a watercolor effect from a photograph - until now! And the results
aren't too spectacular.
I have a classic hi-res landscape shot with lots of trees and greenery but
all attempts I make to 'watercolor' it are proving hopeless. Am I missing
something.
Can someone please suggest optimum settings for a good effect?
I have PS6 but if there's something much better in 7 I can run it through a
friend's.
Thanks.

Might be me but I have failed to find a good tutorial, which gives an
effect that pleases me, in Photoshop6 that does not use plugins or
expensive tools like Kai or similar! ;-)
