Hi

I've been using PS for a long while but have never had the commercial need
to create a watercolor effect from a photograph - until now! And the results
aren't too spectacular.

I have a classic hi-res landscape shot with lots of trees and greenery but
all attempts I make to 'watercolor' it are proving hopeless. Am I missing
something.

Can someone please suggest optimum settings for a good effect?

I have PS6 but if there's something much better in 7 I can run it through a
friend's.

Thanks.

I sure do like your watercolor effects on your page. Do you have tutorials
on this, or is this something you as a profession and keep it secret?

Check out www.retouchpro.com under the Photoshop as Art (name???). There are
lots of good examples there, many with explanations. It's a great site for
learning and having fun.

Might be me but I have failed to find a good tutorial, which gives an
effect that pleases me, in Photoshop6 that does not use plugins or
expensive tools like Kai or similar! ;-)
