I am making paintings out of photographs I take.
I am becoming pretty familiar with various filters on PS6.
I heard somewhere that there is an Impressionist Tool
on PS6. Is there one? And what does it actually do?
I would appreciate your help.

On PS 5.5 you can double click on the the History Brush Tool
-it has an 'impressionist' option under History Brush options
-it has an 'impressionist' option under History Brush options
Don't know about PS6

In PS 5.x, the History Brush has an Impressionist option. You might
want to check out the Art History Brush, too.
