Dorothy Combs
You don't need a plug in to do this in Photoshop. Make a new canvas with
a
transparent background that is one pixel wide and two pixels high.
Enlarge it as far as it will go 1600%. This makes it easier to see what
you are doing and to work with. Then using the pen add one pixel of the
color you want for one set of lines to the top leaving the bottom pixel
empty. Select all. Then go to edit, define pattern. Then make another
new canvas as big as you want it to be. Make the background color the
color you want the second set of lines to be...lighter or darker than
your first color. Doing it this way instead of just making two colors in
your two pixel canvas lets you try a different color if if it is not
quite the look you want. While this new canvas is selected go back to
the edit screen and click on fill. Choose Contents use: pattern. Your
workspace is filled with small lines. You can make one set of lines two
pixels wide, or make three or more different colors of lines. Lots of
choices. Have fun!

reasonable question may I say thank you to Dorothy for not acting in an
Antisocial Manner like one or two of the replies.
It was my belief that this newsgroup was here to help others with a
Photoshop problem and not to snipe at those who are at a different stage
with Photoshop. I have picked up some very useful tips on this newsgroup
and have also solved a number of problems for others for although I have
been using Photoshop for about 10 years I can still learn from others.
Again Dorothy well done for a sensible reply.

I have been having fun making moire patterns by producing one background of
the "line-screen" pattern fill and then making a copy and then applying some
filter like Distort/Polar Co-ordinates and then playing with the layer
filters between the two, altering the color/hue, etc.
The only thing that confused me was I found that I needed to use the
"pencil" tool ... and when I read "pen tool" I thought that meant the tool
for making paths. Anyway the pencil tool worked for me, and it would not
surprise me, if given the vast depths of my ignorance of PS, there is a way
to do it using the Pen (path) tool.
