Yes, this is one of the oldest Photoshop forums, and still active.

On what basis do you say this? I assume, Mike, that you have good
grounds to say this yourself after independent and well based research?
And I am a sock for?

You basically got this from Stafford who has resented the fact that I
killfiled him a long time back at alt.philosophy because he simply could
not concentrate on actual philosophical issues and kept veering into
personal abuse and personal issues.

You have shown poor research and poor character by encouraging him.
Notice how you two have turned on me for no reason whatsoever to do with
my question to a post in this thread. Don't later forget who started
this, a tendency that goes with those who veer towards the personal
because of their sad lives and especially sad intellectual powers and
interests.

No, I killfiled you because your act was tiring, you have no depth, just
reflexive whining through your sock-puppet.

killfiled a long time ago decided to chirp up on.

It is more the sign of a true troll with nothing better to do to fail to
apologise after an insult and pull faces and catcall like this. You are
showing up well, missing every opportunity to be decent in this thread.
Ever thought to stick to impersonal matters, to refrain from starting ad
hominem remarks and accusations? I guess it simply does not occur to you
at all.

You are trying to waste our time letting out more and more fish line with
shiny little lures on it. I ain't biting.

Much as I'm enjoying our conversation, this is the end of it unless you say
something interesting about Photoshop.

It isn't enough for you to have begun a rude insult, now you want to end
it without an apology. Go ahead and end it. I note your total lack of
seriousness on moral issues and your arrogance. Personally, I would
rather share a nice cosy box with Punch and Judy, you can sleep with
Stafford, Hitler and Saddam and other assorted pricks.

It simply does not occur to you that perhaps it is you who should say
something interesting about Photoshop, you owe the thread this much
considering you are the one that colluded with someone that buzzes
incessantly in my killfile. There was no need for you to begin on this
track, I had done nothing to you, merely enquired about someone else's
post concerning their view of a relationship between usenet and web
forums. And your responses to my protests at you insults, which should
have been beneath you, consisted of simple minded remarks like "yadda
yadda".

Thank you. I suspected as much about MR but naturally after his insult
could hardly say so. Anyway, let us forget all this stuff. Stafford is
probably having a chuckle at the trouble he has caused. I am sending
down a nice little surprise for him. Normally I keep some very dangerous
characters in a special chamber in my killfile so they are not loose
with the normal harmless enough killfile residents (like Stafford) who
are merely a nuisance. But I am arranging to move Stafford into the area
where I keep characters like Marquis de Sade. I am sure he is going to
enjoy that. <g>
