I made a little broschure and turned on the Auto-Hyphenate option. The text
is now properly hyphenated. When I save the file as *.AI oder *.EPS, all the
hyphens are saved. When I convert the document to a PDF, every hyphen gets
lost. I get a blank place instead of the "-".
I recently bought Adobe Acrobat in order to export ma Illustrations and add
links to them and all the options one can set. When I print the file to the
distiller, the hyphens are there, but the text ist optically fucked up. The
edges of the fonts are pixalated, it looks like if the font was bold. It's
ugly.
I can make some screenshots if someone is interested in how it looks...
Any advice?! Please, I need help!
Greetings

My only thought is to try some different fonts. Sometimes TrueType fonts
can be messed up, and if this is the case one of your other faces,
preferably the Adobe fonts that came with Illustrator, will work better.
