How can I type greek letters (such as theta or pi) using the text

(I need to create some figures for my students' trigonometry homework)

thanks

Use the math fonts. MathA, MathB and MathC. They come with Windows, I believe.
There's also an Arial G2 that has a lot of math symbols.
Use the character map in windows to find the key for the symbols you want.
