I am trying to create a brochure that has graphics on it and a blue
background...when I print there is a white border around the
page...looks like it's not printing to 100% of the page even though it
is set to 100% scale...
How do I get rid of this border?

In article <5f220d2f.0110...@posting.google.com>,
swee...@crosswinds.net says...
Most printers (laser and inkjet) have to have a border in order to grip
the paper while it's going through. You probably wont be able to get
full bleed unless you print onto a bigger size sheet and crop it
yourself.

It's not only for the gripper edge that printers leave a border around the
image. It would gunk up the printer's innards something fierce if the laser
toner or inkjet ink went beyond the paper's edge and onto the rollers.
You're absolutely right about going onto oversized stock.. The only other
way I can think of to get a "bleed" image would be to print the page, with
crop marks, as "fit to page" and make your peace with a reduced overall
image size.
