i created a picture using illustrator 10 by importing a picture, adding a
layer and then tracing it with the paintbrush tool.

i've tried doing the same with cs, but the damn brush won't work. it keeps
showing me a no entry sign.

is it something i'm oing wrong?

thanks

Do you have the correct layer selected?
Do you have that layer locked?

Pencil tool is probably the best one to use for tracing anyway.

Is there a brush selected in the brush palette? You'll get the "No"
cursor if there isn't.
