Interesting!

There is mounting evidence that Jesus was indeed Gay. Some believe that Judas was actually his lover, and the only reason he betrayed Jesus was that the sword was held to the back of his neck, and he was within a few seconds of having his head cut off if he didn't turn Jesus in, and to have his own life, he did what he did. Not that it all mattered anyway, as a few hours later, Judas, in remorse for his actions, hanged himself. Another belief is that, because Judas did hang himself, it became the symbol of the best method to die by for Gay males. This is believed to be why suicide by hanging is the most popular method for Gay males, especially younger gay males. Religious nutbars also believe that many Gay males hang themselves as Judas did to atone for their "sinful life". Most Gay males, when they do choose to hang themselves, do it because of a bizarrely quirky reason tying the effect of the noose to the male physique to a euphoric experience, thus making death by hanging kind of a sexy.

However, there are more who believe that John the apostle, not John the Baptist, was Jesus' lover. And while Judas did also love Jesus, it was jealousy that lead to Judas' betraying Jesus. He really didn't want to, but, as he was about to be beheaded, he surrendered to the officials to save himself.

There is quite a lot of evidence pertaining to Jesus' true sexual orientation, and this is absolutely burning the behinds of the ultra-right-winged Christian conservatives!

It is true that Judas was indeed close to having his head cut off. One final resistance to betray Jesus, and Judas would have been beheaded. Was his betrayal really to save himself? Or, given the circumstances that nearly lead to him losing his head, did he agree to betray Jesus, knowing that, once Jesus was arrested, Judas was going to hang himself anyway?

I don't think there is any one reason why so many Gay males, especially teenaged Gay males, choose death by hanging as their favorite method of suicide. Too many discover that euphoric experience, as you call it, or, as it is more commonly known as, The Choking Game, in their pre-teen or early teen years. Many deaths by hanging of those young males is actually accidental. But, having their deaths classified as suicide seems far more accepted than their deaths being classified as accidental for some reason.

Most of the evidence does point to John being Jesus same-sex lover, as opposed to Judas. The final outcome, Judas is hanged rather than beheaded, and we all know what happened to Jesus, might bare out this evidence. Judas was jealous of John, but, realising what he had done, took the rope and sacrificed his life for Jesus' love. It's happened quite often, with that same result!

Good points!

I was reading your responses to my statements, and find your responses quite interesting.

Now that Christmas is over, and the next big religious celebration is Easter in three months, I thought I'd throw out some thoughts.

Were John and Judas the only Gay apostles? Probably not! Most, if not all, were Gay. And while Judas was spared the punishment of having his head cut off, John (Jesus's lover), his brother James, Paul, Mathew, and Bartholomew were all beheaded within the next few years! They had gone their separate ways, and had journeyed throughout various African nations where they met their fates.

Now, there is proof surfacing that John the Baptist was also Gay. And that Salome had met him and was quite taken by the man. When she found out he preferred other men, she became angry! That is why, when she found out her step-father Herod had John arrested, and Herod asked the young lady (I think she was only 17 or 18) what she wanted for her birthday, she asked for John's head to be given to her on a platter. Herod obliged, and had John beheaded while Salome was celebrating her birthday. That evening, only about a half-hour after John's head was cut off, a soldier entered the room carrying the head of John the Baptist on a platter as Salome requested. She was quite taken by being given the head of the man! Legend has it that she then retreated to her bedroom with the head, and there, she stripped off her clothes and sat, nude, on the floor. She picked up John's head and held it up with one hand, while she fingered herself with her other hand.

And about Judas hanging himself, there is speculation that he had taken off all his clothes before he climbed up the tree to tie the rope off, and that the rope he used was a belt he had tied around his waist. Once he had the rope tied off around the tree branch, and he had it tied around his neck, he pulled himself up a couple of feet, then he let go and dropped down, and that it was enough to deliver a hard enough impact to his neck to cause his neck to break. The addition of being nude when he hanged himself was thought to be a form of self-humiliation. Too, and this is also speculation, when Judas' body was found and cut down, he was supposed to have been buried directly under the spot where he dangled. However, just before his body was dropped into the grave hole, his head was cut off and was buried on the opposite side of the tree.

I was going to respond to your post long before now. But, since we are now in Easter (Good Friday morning, to be exact, as I write this), I thought it would be the perfect time for me to respond to what you wrote!

Yes, the subject about Jesus, his apostles, and John the Baptist all being Gay comes up quite often, especially around this time (Easter)! This can really upset anyone who is a member of the ultra-right-winged religious conservatives! The "legend" of John the Baptist's fate is well known! It makes you wonder if what Salome had requested, that she be given John's head on a platter, often enters into the minds of women who get interested in a guy, only to find out he's Gay? I wouldn't know about that, as I have never had a woman that interested in me, at least, not that I know of, or even care, as I have never been interested in women! I'm not bragging, but, I have, over the years, especially when I was in my teens and into my early 20's, had guys, mainly older ones, tell me they would love to have "my head on a platter"!

As for the number of apostles who eventually were beheaded, given the regions where they were when their heads were cut off, is thought to be why Mohammed was adamant that Gays must be put to death specifically by being beheaded. To this thought, given the meteoric rise of the ultra-right-winged Christian conservatives, particularly in the United States, will the mass beheading of Gays start outside of Muslim nations where Gays are regularly beheaded? Add to this, how many Gays will willingly sacrifice themselves (and their heads) for gay rights? I have felt, since that magic moment when I was just four months away from my 14th birthday, and I first felt another guy's penis (we were celebrating his 14th birthday) slide into my ass and deposit his hot semen into my rectum, that I was destined to be beheaded! It became adamant to me, and my boyfriend, a few hours after we surrendered our virginity to each other, and we were reading a newspaper story about forty Gay men who were beheaded in Saudi Arabia just for being Gay, that being beheaded was our fate! As it was, exactly two years later, on his 16th birthday, he would stand on a chair and slip a noose around his neck, then he would tip the chair over. When the rope snapped tight, impacting his neck, the impact would snap his neck, hopefully killing him quickly! Still, the thought that, one day, I would be having my head cut off because of my sexuality has never left my head! The only way that will happen is when I am beheaded! Too, over the years, I have had, and do have, numerous friends and sex partners, who have shared, and do share, that feeling! And I still accept that I will die by beheading one day!

Thinking of Judas and his hanging, by what is now celebrated as Good Friday morning, Judas had already been hanged (it is believed that he was hanged sometime around 1:00 in the morning), and his body had already been found (again, it is believed that his dangling body was found sometime around dawn that morning, and within an hour, he was buried). There are two videos on YouTube, one from the rock opera, "Jesus Christ, Superstar", and the other from Mel Gibson's movie, which was quite violent and contained a lot of gore, and is probably a more realistic portrayal of what really happened. The rock opera made Judas hanging himself take on a seriously erotic aura! The question is whether Judas was nude when he hanged himself. As you stated, it would have been taken as being humiliated, provided you haven't adopted the opinion that if he did so, his hanging would have been seriously erotic. The impression given by the rock opera is that Judas was indeed nude when he was hanged. Too, the impression given by the video from the rock opera, Judas did indeed hang himself in a way that resulted in him breaking his neck. It's erotic enough envisioning him hanged in the nude, would it be even more erotic if he did manage to break his neck? The way he drops, and the reaction as his neck gets jolted looks sensuous! In my thinking, this is a better portrayal! For me, I do love the image that he was totally nude when the rope impacted his neck, and I love thinking that he did break his neck. As for what happened once his body was cut down, yes, it is believed that he was buried directly below where he was found dangling. It is also thought that his grave was dug while he still dangled, and that when he was cut down, his body fell directly into the hole. Was his head cut off and buried separately? I like to think that his head was cut off, and that his head was buried on the opposite side of his hanging tree! Wouldn't that be ironic, as he was so close to being beheaded anyway! I do want to believe that is what happened, that his head was cut off!

Oh, what being Gay at Easter makes you think of! And I don't even believe in God!

Back when I was in high school, in 1998 to 2001, the school, a Catholic high school, they put on an Easter play and I auditioned for the role of Judas. My desire to play him was driven my my intrigue about how he died. I had thought about how his death was portrayed in the play and movie 'Jesus Christ, Superstar'. The way he hanged himself was seriously erotic! That's the way I wanted to play it. I also wondered if I could have gotten away with doing it, hanging myself for real. The way the actor in the movie showed it, when Judas let go of the branch and fell, his neck got a nice jolt! I don't think I would have broken my neck, but you never know. I wondered, if I had got the part, how long would it have taken for someone to notice I was hanged for real? Anyway, I didn't get the role.

Another play that the school put on was a play called 'Spring Awakening' by Frank Wedekind. In the play, there are a couple of suicide scenes. About 6-years ago, an actor was in the play and he changed the suicide scene from one where he was supposed to shoot himself in the head to where he was supposed to hang himself. When the play was on, he did, he hanged himself for real! It took a few minutes before anyone noticed he was hanged and unconscious. By the time he was noticed, it was too late. He wasn't dead then, but he died a few days later. I auditioned for that particular role, but didn't get it.
