Annual Convergence AGF SWAP. Saturday 12:00-2:00 (in plenty of time
for
you to nip back and stash your swag before the AGF shopping trip
scheduled for 2:30), in the Hospitality Suite.
What the swap is:
A chance to swap out some of the stuff that has been sitting in your
closet and is in need of a new home. Got some uber-goth that just
isn't
your style any more? Some odd thing you HAD TO HAVE that somehow you
never wear? Something that just doesn't fit? Why not swap your old
(but fabulous!) clothing and maybe find a few new treasures from
fellow-Convergence goers? This is a fairly informal get-together were
we lay out our swapables and then wheel and deal amongst ourselves.
Take a look around, your fellow Goths have great taste - chances are
you'll find something you need to take home with you. And the best
part? It's a SWAP! No money necessary (save it for the vendors).
Some common-sense rules:
Make sure your items are in decent condition, clean, and free of
cat-hair and cigarette smells.
Don't bring your entire wardrobe :)
If you can't do a direct swap, maybe a 3-way or 4-way swap might work.
Give it a shot!
While this is a *swap*, if items remain at the end feel free to make a
cash offer to the owner.
Shoes and hair-falls are ok to bring but remember, lots of us travel
by
plane so keep bulky or heavy things to a minimum if possible.
Only bring stuff you really want to get rid of.
Don't cry to us if you swap out a fabulous Shrine dress for a jelly
bracelet while drunk, you make your deal you take your chances. We
are
not responsible.
Anything that isn't swapped that you don't want to drag back home we
can
donate to Good Will.
