[review] Artist Direct order -- RAVES!

http://artistdirect.com but they sell all kinds of music-related
merchandise. (Go to the site, then click on "Shopping" to get to the
shopping bits.) The artists repesented are mainly very mainstream ones, like
Limp Bizkit and Cher and Neil Young and the Backstreet Boys, but they also
have less well-known or more far-out bands and artists, like Bjork, Tori
Amos, Radiohead, Frank Black, Brian Setzer, Sonic Youth, The The, etc.
And they do have some very nice Bjork baby tees. :) I bought the
Selmasongs baby tee. I placed my order on Monday night (around midnight)
which means it didn't get received until Tuesday morning. I was not at all
expecting my package this week, but it arrived in the mail today, Friday.
That's really fast! I wore my shirt to work today. I was pretty impressed
with their speed. All in all, a very nice experience -- easy ordering, fast
shipping, nice shirt.

wow. some of their prices for t-shirts are simply ABSURD. i looked at their
Radiohead t-shirts, since i want a Kid A evil bear head shirt... both shirts
they had were about 40$, and the same exact shirts are available at
www.waste.co.uk for about 25$. i wonder why the markup is so high.. <joking>
maybe they're worn by the band.. </joking>.

Yes, I was very disturbed by the price of the radiohead shirts, cause
I wanted one. :( But the baby tees aren't so bad -- they're only about
$15-$20, which seems okay to me. And they seem to have somewhat cheap cds.
