Were any members of the royal family a Royal Marine commando since it was
organized in 1664? As officers or enlisted? The Duke of Edinburgh, husband
of Queen Elizabeth,
is the capatin-general of the Royal Marines corps although he was a Royal
Navy officer.
Did one of the Queen's son failed the Royal Marine officer course? Who and
why?
Which military service have members of the Royal family served the most
with since the 1900s?
Royal Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force?
Thanks.

It was Prince Edward who was briefly a Royal Marine. He quit the Royal Marines
during preliminary training because it was too tough for him. After he quit, he
began his student life at Oxford, studying history.

Where do you get your information? Edward graduated with a degree in
history in 1986 - he resigned from the Marines on Jan 12/87

And, that degree came from Cambridge, not Oxford.
