An excerpt from the article:
"The Prince said Sandringham has been "denuded" in order to put the
pictures on public show.
Top attraction was the stunning painting by John Ward showing Diana,
Princess of Wales wearing her bridal gown.
The collection also includes the first official portraits of Princes
William and Harry, at the age of four and two.
The Prince opened the exhibition at the National Museum of Wales in
Cardiff and spent 20 minutes privately viewing the pictures.
The exhibition, called Princes as Patrons, charts art collections by
successive Princes of Wales through the centuries.
Prince Charles said: "For me, it is particularly interesting to compare
my own paltry collection with that of past princes.
"In my case my house has been completed denuded of everything. There are
large gaps at Sandringham.
"I'm much looking forward to November when I can have them all back.
"I could not be happier sharing this collection with a whole lot of
people who I hope will enjoy it as much as I have."
Upon reading the article it seems that the POW was very generous and
showing a very loving and human side of himself especially about his
endearance towards the picture(s) of his late wife.

It is generous for him to share the picture collection to anyone
who would appreciate art. It sounds like someone may be doing some
painting and re-decorating at Highgrove, maybe some interior changes.
Maybe Camilla is putting her personal touch on Highgrove interiors.
It also sounds like Diana and Charles could have been friends after
their divorce and especially if she did find new love with Dodi and
Charles re-discover his love for Camilla.
Prince Philip's advice to Charles did not work out so well.
I wonder how many lives have been influenced by parent's choosing
careers for their off-spring:forcing them to go into the military,
forcing marriage upon them, forcing them to go into teaching,law.etc.
I wonder how the parents feel if it doesn't work out for the
off-spring? If a parent was forced to marry someone maybe they feel
it is their right to force their off-spring into an arranged marriage.
I guess this is another word for duty:then forced male children too.
Why? Why are male heirs superior to female heirs? Is a male heir
viewed as a (possible) Messiah? Is royalty seen as a Messiah fulfillment?

Oh, I thought it would be *art*!
Not that fine photographs aren't art, but I was thinking of "Old Master"
paintings & sculpture.
Of course, I guess that such photos are what the public in general wants
to see.
