domestic assault filed by married country music singers Lorrie Morgan
and Sammy Kershaw.
Morgan, 44, reported Monday she was assaulted by her husband during an
argument in March. She also said Kershaw, 45, yelled and poked his
finger into the chest of her 16-year-old son, police spokesman Don Aaron
said.
Police helped Morgan get a protection order against her husband of two
years, but she told detectives Monday she didn't want to prosecute him
criminally.

When officers were at the home that evening to observe the removal of
Morgan's tour buses from the property, Kershaw said Morgan had pushed
him in the face during an argument Sunday. He filed an order of
protection against Morgan on Tuesday, Aaron said.
A judge will decide the matter at a hearing within 15 days.
Morgan's hits include "What Part of No" and "I Didn't Know My Own
Strength." Kershaw has had hits such as "She Don't Know She's Beautiful"
and "Love of My Life."
The two have recorded duets including "He Drinks Tequila" and "Maybe Not
Tonight."

ok, these two are just fucked up, especially that dirty old whore,
lorrie morgan. just a couple of years ago, these two looked doe-eyed
at each other as they sang their gushy, sugar dripping duet on regis
and kathie me and now look at them. separate complaints of domestic
assault? separate restraining orders against each other? god, what a
nightmare for her kids. does this woman have ANY good judgment of
character when it comes to this endless merry-go-round of husbands
she's had over the years? she needs to be beaten alright but not with
fists but by a large clue-by-four.

Isn't that the truth. I remember a number of years ago, I saw Lorrie
Morgan interviewed on one of those pseudo-investigative news programs,
I believe it was Dateline. Anyhow, she was married to her bus
driver(?) at the time, yet announced on television that Troy Aiken
(sp?) was the love of her life. How nice it was that she considered
the feelings of the man she was married to.

She also said that Troy was the love of her life after he had dumped her
and she was married to Jon Randall. (The one after the bus driver and

I bet she is a real fighter, physically and verbally. Counselors
would probably tell her to hang up her wedding dresses for about
the next 20 years. Lorrie would never listen to counseling, IMHO,
