Cindy Crawford - Hype or Truly Attractive?

With her 'Sex with Cindy Crawford' show and the upcoming Playboy
feature, it looks like someone is trying to turn up the volume on
her career. So is it hype and a plain jane is being promoted as
pretty or do people find her really pretty?
I say it is hype. Ever since Julie Roberts was labeled as 'pretty' it
seems the label can be placed about anywhere.

Jesus, are you nuts or blind? Cindy Crawford is gorgeous and funny,
too. She can't act for shit, judging from her action film with one of
those Baldwins, but the kiss she gave him where her tongue just leapt
across the space between the two of them....yeah, she's not just pretty
but enthusiastic about it as well.
And that's the same sort of vitality that animates Julia Roberts' face
as well, which can often elevate a striking face into an extraordinary
one.
You may have Crawford confused with Linda Tripp who is at the other end
of the spectrum in the Witch Ugly section. I don't think the label could
be held on there even with strapping tape and two-inch bolts. Not a pretty
woman, probably never a pretty girl.

Cindy's gorgeous! Plus she's likeable, which is more than you can say for some
beauties (supermodels or otherwise) I could mention.
For true hype, you need look no further than the Grand High Priestess Of All
That Is Hype, Madonna. Mary Pierce and Cameron Diaz don't work for me either,
and I'm in England, the place that gave the world Margaret Thatcher, Princess
Diana, Paula Yates, Helen Mirren and Sporty Spice. Next to that lot, Cindy
Crawford looks even more of a stunner than she already is.
Oh, and Julia Roberts IS pretty by the way.

I'm sorry but I have to agree that Cindy Crawford isn't all that "pretty" and
neither is julia roberts. But I do have to say this that Beauty has more to do
with attitude, charisma, and intelligence . I think thats why these women are
labeled beautiful because for instance Julia Roberts is to say the least the
girl next door and brings herself off as confident and sweet and you just want
to eat her up...:0) and If you put Cindy Crawford in a business suit with round
wonder woman glass well ... Thats another fantasy ... never mind, you all
understand what I'm trying to say. thats what makes them pretty.

the most beatiful women in the world for roughly ten years now and in all
honesty hype doesn't last for ten years. Yes she's truly attractive. I know
everyone has their owns personal tastes but if you're being fair about it you
can see that.
As far as the hype machine in full effect I think its just the fact that her
time as a model may be drawing to a close. Especially now that she has this
deal with ABC Television. This may be her way of capping off what in modeling
would be considered a very long and very successful career.

I agree. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Cindy has some amount of
it..hence her flaming popularity..but at least ten other celebs come to mind
that I think are more beautiful.
