How obnoxious are these two? If you've been watching "Celebrity
Apprentice" then you'll have an idea. I don't know how the people
unfortunate enough to be stuck on a team with them can control the
overwhleming urge to push them out the nearest window. This show gives
insight into what type of people these celebs REALLY are and in the
case of the Rivers women, it aint a pretty picture. Not only are they
both grotesque to look at but they clearly show themselves to be rude,
domineering, petty, childhish and mean-spirited. I used to think that
Joan Rivers was a laugh but after last night's show when she called a
member of the rival team "Hitler," she has demonstrated what a
loathsome, spiteful, brainless idiot she is. And yet moron Trump
didn't fire her for that! I hope they get a ton of hate mail for
allowing such dispicable behaviour.

Duke was a month shy of her PhD and it shows. She is one smart woman
and she is playing the game. I'm for her to win this overall.

Joan is just a bully and is throwing her weight around but then again,
on youtube you see Joan and Melissa doing commercials for charities. I
really don't know how someone hasn't hauled off and nailed Joan for
the whining bitch she is.

BUT...IT IS ENTERTAINING and that is what they are giving us.

Poker players are some of the smartest people around. Not just book
smarts, they can read people like no one else. She figured everyone out
in the game the first time she met them. That's why she is going to win,
cause she isn't playing the same game they are.

She may be smart, but she's not very likable. I'll take likable any
ol' day. Annie is just a disagreeable person, all around, and seems
proud of it. In addition, her ego is just overwhelming, whether it's
warranted or not. She's just got an unattractive personality.

Melissa would do something besides work on copy and marketing if they
would give her a task - she did a great job on making the commercial
in the first part of the season; did you forget that? She knows her
stuff. So does Joan. And both of them have done a lot more for all
kinds of charities than Annie ever thought of.

I wouldn't want to be on either Joan's or Annie's bad side, but that
said, the teams have raised over $700K for charity so far - a record
for this genre of The Apprentice. You can't fault that.

She's a poker player, not a nun (although there are many, including my mom,
who don't really like nuns). Also, poker players have a way to rub people
the wrong way. And I have no doubt that Annie is a bitch on wheels in
real life. But that's how they roll. It's part of the game they play,
part of their persona.

I'm glad you brought this up. I think Joan is dumb
for taking this "game" so seriously. At times she has
appeared like an out of control witch. Not a pretty
site on her stitched together pumped up face.

Calling anyone that she finds threatening names
makes her look so childish. What's the jewish
word for harpie or shrew ?

Oh, Trump seems to be afraid of her as well.

I don't thik she'll win the game but heaven help
him if he tries to fire melissa because Joan will
walk. They appear co-dependant.

Did you notice that Joan Rivers couldn't get anybody to donate to
charity during that jewelry auction? I find it odd that someone who's
pretty much part of "old hollywood" couldn't get a dime out of any of
her friends. Gee...maybe that's because she doesn't have any! Ghads
she's so obnoxious.

As a side note, I find it odd that Natalie Gulbis couldn't find anyone
either. That just shows how unliked they are.

I make a habit of NOT doing that.

And you're talking about it will encourage Trump to keep making these
kind of decisions. Controversy is always a ratings grabber.

The Playboy centerfold Brandee seems to be proving that you can have
brains and boobs. A this point appears that she could win.

Agreed. They are beyond annoying. I'm sure it's just an act,
especially Joan, but she doesn't realize she's coming off like a
baffoon. Her personal attacks are ridiculous. The sad thing is that
I'm sure she will probably win because the Donald is such an ass-
kissing dope.

And that daughter of hers is coming off like a complete loser. She'd
be working at a gas station if she wasn't Joan's daughter.

Annie is by far the most competent one there. The editing can make or
break you as far as personality and such. They are trying to make her
look bad. So that makes me think someone else won. It's like they are
setting her up for the bad guy role.

I don't know but she's the one who has actually done the most. Her
ideas and instincts (and fundraising) are what wins the tasks. She's
very strong and confrontational, but she gets results the others
don't. She should win.

And that whole thing about her yelling on the phone was silly. If
anyone had gone behind the backs of ANY of those celebs, they would be
pissed off too. Imagine what the Donald would do if someone tried that
on him. So you can't blame her for being mad.

I can understand why they are co-dependant.After all, Melissa's father
and Joan River's husband checked out on them by taking the cowardly
way out and leaving them with massive debt..So,while they tend to
grate on my nerves sometimes,I can truly understand the dynamic of
them protecting each other and Joan especially fighting for her cub so
to speak.

I also think that Joan River's is a great off the cuff, impromtu
comedianne. But on the apprentice..meh,..Not suited for her.

He might be a nice guy, but Sandra Bullock's husband comes across as
dumb as a stump. When Trump asked him why he didn't ask for his wife's
help to raise money, he sat there with a blank look on his face and
then mumbled, "I don't like mixing business with pleasure." Duh! All
he had to do was just ask her to make a couple of calls on his behalf.
She wouldn't have to get directly involved. He must be totally
different when he's with her. For her sake, I hope so.

I loved Joan's tantrum when she threw her wine glass to the floor. I
was fully expecting her to then stamp her foot and hold her breath.
God! What are you - a six year old?!

One of the things I don't like about Celebrity Apprentice is the tasks
which involve getting donations. All it takes to win is to have the
vcelebs who have the most friends with the most money. It really
doesn't involve much skill, other than calling them on the phones ans
asking them to donate money (or in Annie's case at the jewelry
auction, begging and embarrassing them to give money). In a way, I
applaud Jesse for not having to resort to asking his wife for money,
regardless if it were going to charity, especially not one of hs
choosing.

Jesse James dumb? I don't think so. Quietly smart. Controlled. Not the
"hollywood" type so I can see where he wouldn't want to bring his wife's
celebrity into it. He's the celeb apprentice, not her :-)

I *Love* Jesse! Don't discount him just because he's quiet and doesn't play
the blab everything he knows game.

They find people who need a tax break or who want to raise their profile
as philanthropists, and say "wait for my call."

Everything else - all the supposed suspense - will they arrive in time
with a check? Ohmigod. ALL that is fixed in the shooting and editing. It
is NOT spontaneous. Have you ever seen anyone arrive with a check
*after* the deadline?

It's entertainment folks and it is*all* a manipulation.

Probably less so with the non-celeb show, but the celeb show is pretty
much mapped out.

Yeah, I agree.

Plus, I think it's crude to fart on camera. I can't see why she would
be attracted to him. Although he was also married to a porn star at
one point, I think that's a better match for him than Sandra.

I do think some of his dumb guy personality is partly an act to lower
people's expectations of him.

The thing that surprised me about Melissa is that she is literally
incapable of hearing criticism without having a breakdown. Joan is the
same way. But with Joan, I think part of it is playing to the cameras.
With Melissa, I think it's all her own true psychosis showing. I
wouldn't be surprised if she snapped and killed someone someday. She
should never own a gun!

These celebs really screw themselves by acting this way. I would
literally never buy a single thing from either of those two. Not that
I would have before, but now I'd go out of my way not to. They give
