Could it be that a certain actor's return to his familiar character was more
difficult than anticipated? Oh, he thought that it was a breeze, but then
again, he was unconscious most of the time. Talk to the director and
make-up person, and it's another story entirely. They tell a tale of a
scarily unhealthy-looking lead actor who swears that he has acting in his
bones. Intimates tell me it isn't any dreaded physical illness but, rather,
the same old culprit - drugs, booze, and plenty of sex (with plenty of
pretty boys). As usual when under the influence, he cannot deliver the big
one - he can barely deliver a small one! He'd better have an angel on his
shoulder, or he'll be history - fast!
-----------
Could it be that a certain actor from a failed series (mark two) has decided
to stick around this time? My sources tell me that bilingual actor (who isn
't cunilingual) figured that staying in Hollywood during pilot season wasn't
such a bad idea - particularly West Hollywood, where so many pilots like to
play during layovers. How odd for him, since he usually flees for foreign
shores - and the stage (he's such a theatre queen). For new television
ideas, he has only one prerequisite - please try to stay away from Peter
(the name, not the organ).

This made me think of Keanu Reeves, although in the last picture I saw
of him he looked pretty good. Di

This one has me stumped, although the operative words seem to be:

"a certain actor's return to his familiar character"

"lead actor who swears that he has acting in his bones" -- stressing
Bones?

"he'd better have an angel on his shoulder" -- "Angel" as in David
Boreanaz?

Keanu Reeves was in a TV movie in 1986 called "Under the Influence", but that's
the only connection I can find to any of the clues (except for the obvious
return to a familiar character) . It's a little weak, but I want to believe
it, so it works for me.

The BI solution may be Michael T. Weiss, star of the now-cancelled Pretender
series. TNT recently aired a "Pretender 2001" telemovie continuing the
Pretender story, one of the show's characters is called "Angel" by her
father, and Weiss completed a movie with Snoop Dogg ("Bones") to be released
later this year. When you look at the promo shots on the TNT Pretender site
the guy does look a bit gaunt. This isn't the first time a Filth2Go BI of
this nature has been pointed towards MTW. However, no one on the Net
besides Masters ever seems to have a bad word to say about him, beyond the
usual "is he gay" rumors that seem to follow half the men in show business.
Makes one wonder how much is possibly true and how much is just Billy
wanting something he couldn't get...

Oh, this is too easy. It's John Barrowman of TITANS. In 1995 he starred in
the Darren Starr produced drama Central Park West as Peter Fairchild. This
television season he starred as Peter Williams on Aaron Spellings TITANS. He
was born in Scotland. Has made most of his living on the London stage.

It is Michael Weiss. Every one of the other references pertain to movies of
his, and he is a favorite Blind item subject of Filt2Go.

When did Keanu ever have a failed t.v. series? I missed that one if he did.

Brendan Fraser? He's making a sequel to THE MUMMY and Imogen mentioned
thatat the Golden Globes he looked as though he'd put on a lot of weight

Perhaps he speaks Gaelic? Or perhaps it's a euphemism? Anyway, here's his
mini bio:
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, and raised in Chicago. He returned to the U.K.,
after graduating from the United States International University of San Diego,
to star in the musical productions of "Anything Goes", "Miss Saigon",
"Matador", "Rope" and "Hair" at London's West End. Barrowman has homes in
London and New York.

I don't know which languages he speaks if he speaks more than just English.
Perhaps the "bilingual" wasn't meant to be taken literally, but was instead
put into the BI so Billy could set up his catty remark about Barrowman not
being "cuninglingual". In a broader sense you could say Barrowman is
"bilingual" because he was born in one country and raised in another, I
guess.

My website has got some information on Barrowman, including some pictures.
I've been following his career for a while because he is/was a possible
replacement for Pierce Brosnan when he decides to stop doing 007. But the
producers won't hire Barrowman if they have heard or suspect Barrowman is
gay. They came close to hiring Antony Hamilton (Cover Up) for the role
after Roger Moore stepped down but they got wind Hamilton was gay and
quietly withdrew his name as a candidate.

No idea!? Please...I tuned in to the first episode of "Titans" to

Mmmmm, yes he is truly delish! He was the only part of that show

The problem with the theory that it is Keanu is that if the return to a
familiar character is supposed to point to the obvious--Matrix 2--they haven't
started filming so there would be no need for a make-up person yet, would
there? They don't start filming until March and all they're doing is the
physical/kung fu training. I don't even know how involved the director would
be at this point, but I don't think you can sleep through it. From the reports
of those that have been to the most recent Dogstar shows, he is starting to
show the physical effects of the training already.
