Nicole Nilson, an Atlanta personal chef who won $50,000 on the reality TV
show "Big Brother 2," says she felt "ashamed we were still inside playing this
silly game" after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.
Nilson also said that the three remaining players locked in a house on
CBS' back lot begged to be told more than the sketchiest information about the
attacks. "We were originally told New York was bombed and that was it," Nilson
said in a telephone interiew Friday, after the show's finale Thursday.
"When I went into debriefing after the finish, that was my first question:
Give me a number (of dead)," she said. She added that she has not been able to
watch any television or read anything about the attacks because she feels
overwhelmed.
In addition to trying to process the end of three months of paranioa,
lying and gamesmanship of "Big Brother 2" and the terrorist attacks, she was
told Thursday night by her husband, Atlanta software designer Jeff Schaffrick,
that her father-in-law, Thomas Schaffrick, died Monday night....
Gosh, even the contestants are "ashamed" of the show. Do you think CBS execs
are even capable of feeling shame?

Well, there is "ashamed" and then there is "ASHAMED". I'm betting on the

That would have bothered me more if I were her hubby...it was obvious she
lusted after Hardy, and contrary to what she said, it wasn't in a 'brotherly'
