Robert Mitchum was a Male Hustler?

this sort of thing alleged until now. I was browsing some film sites
and came across a blog that claimed Mitchum was a male prostitute in
his youth (I added the link below if you care to read it for
yourself). Has anyone else heard this or is it just nonsense?

I don't think Robert Mitchum was a prostitute.I have read before that
John Wayne was, I doubt that too.
This is the ''new age'' nowadays.Everybody is gay, except me.

Whatever happened to Hollywood Confidential? If you follow the blog
it says it was forced out of print. But has anyone republished those
great old articls in book form or put them on the Internet in their
entirety? Would be fun reading.

AFAIK there has not been a _Hollywood Confidential_ compilation book,
and it is LONG overdue...it's fun reading. And it one time it was the
*biggest* - selling magazine of any type in America...

Oh yeah, right. Next you're going to say that Rock Hudson was gay.
A number of years ago I saw a copy of Hustler that had pics of several
frames from an old gay porn film - I believe from the 40's or 50's -
that supposedly featured a young Chuck Connors. Supposedly the title
of it was "Chuck". I couldn't testify for a fact it was him since the
resolution wasn't great and people just look different when they're in
their teens, but it certainly looked like what you might figure a
young Chuck Connors would look like. And yes, they made some cracks
about him pumping his rifle.
Arnold Schwarzenegger did some nude modeling for gay mags for rent
money and in his book "The Education of A Bodybuilder" is quite open
about having been approached by gays who hung around gyms looking to
pick someone up, though he asserts he turned them down.

sitting in his new Horch automobile.The article title says, Rock is

Some old East Side Kids/Bowery Boys movies are on the TCM channel
now.Next thing we hear/read, somebody will be saying those guys were

I once saw an interview with Mitchum and he told this great story:
In the 1940s, he was just breaking into small movie parts and still
had a job in a factory making airplane parts for WW II.
He became friendly with a co-worker named Dougherty who used to take
him home for a decent meal cooked by his wife Norma.
About a dozen years later, Mitchum is a major star and comes to the
set of "River of No Return" and realizes that his co-star, Marilyn
Monroe, is Norma Dougherty.
