When I heard Paris Hilton's mother Kathy was a "child star," I did a little
internet research to try an figure who she was since I had never heard of
her. Near as I can tell, Kathy Richards did a few guest appearances on TV
shows as a teen. Her sisters, Kim and Kyle Richards, were pretty well known
though. Kim was probably best known as Tia from the "Witch Mountain" movies.
Not that this is very interesting; but I just thought I'd share what I
found.

I wondered about the mom as well- an dI thought I saw some tv biography which
said that her mom was Cissy on the show with Buffy and Jody and Uncle
Bill..... was it Family Affair? Any body else see that?

I thought the girl that played Cissy was Cathy Garver or something like that.
I dont think there's a 'Hilton' link there....

You are right. Paris Hilton's mom is Kathy Richards. She was a guest star on
"Family Affair;" but never had a regular role.

went to the site.....how nice!
i grew up with family affair and always wanted sissy to be my big sister : )
i was brokenhearted when i learned that buffy had died...so tragically....and
to then see the boy that played jody so distraught over her
death........horrible!
wonderful show and fun memories of it!
ps...wanted my own Mr French, too!

I really liked it! I remember the older sister was the girl from JAWS2 as
well. It was not on for a long time though....kinda like Square Pegs,
another favourite of mine that was not on long enough.

Kim guest-starred in a very early episode of "Little House on the Prairie."
She played Laura's cripped friend who is teased by Nellie Oleson. This was
one of the first Nellie episodes, where she was more bratty than evil.

Kyle appeared in several "Little House" episodes as Mr. Edward's adopted
daughter, Alicia. (Patricia Neal played her mother.) She was a semi-regular
on the show during the 2nd and 3rd seasons, but then the Edwards family was
written off and she only showed up two or three more times after that.
