Kati Witt and Richard Dean Anderson: Why Did They Split?

Does anyone know why Kati Witt and Richard Dean Anderson split up? I remember
they dated back in the early nineties.

At the time of the split, I read in the National Enquirer that Dean's
friends where saying that although Richard
D Anderson was crazy about, Katarina Witt he told friends he felt
smothered by Katarina's
rush to marry. According to the Enquirer,
Witt gave Dean one of those ultimatums marry me now or it is over.
Although Dean was devastated because Witt dumped him, he would not give
in and say I do.
Ironically,after Witt stopped taking his calls, Dean went back to his
longtime ex who later became famous as Lois Lane on TVs Lois and
Clark-(Superman)Teri Hatcher. Its ironic he would go back to Teri
because the Enquirer reported that the reason Dean and Terry had split
up before he met Katarina was because Teri wanted to get marry.
Ofcouse, we know Dean did not marry Teri either.

long before richard was a really big "star", i read that he lived in
west hollywood and drove a black jeep. at the time i added two and
two and came up with "gay"! however, since then i've seen no evidence
to support this theory. but what the hell, let's start the rumor
right here, right now.
