In the week since Lowdown published it, the drawing has inspired much
media speculation and even a parody or two.
"While your depiction is pretty darn close, I will say that the woman
being torn from Lindsay and me IS NOT Leslie Sloane," the 46-year-old
Lohan writes from New York's Collins Correctional Facility, where he's
serving up to four years for drunken driving, contempt of court and
beating his brother-in-law bloody with a shoe.
"Then again, take a look around, there is that mysterious 'lady in
black' standing on the courthouse/bank steps orchestrating everything,"
Lohan writes. "As a matter of fact, the little demon on the phone,
holding what appears to be the shirt off my back (little does he
know!), might just be in communication with her."
The artist helpfully continues: "Ooops, and please, let's not forget
the 'devil.' Notice his rap style name plate: Mr. 'Casa de Nada' (House
of Nothing). ... The same serpant [sic] responsible for using something
as sacred as a crucifix to twist a beautiful song, by a beautiful girl
in a video, while he hides 'transparently' in the background, letting
it look like the video was someone else's idea - when in truth, it
was his!!!"
My best guess is Tommy Mottola, who heads Casablanca Records, Lindsay's
label, and is embroiled in a lawsuit filed by two would-be producers
against the starlet's mom, Dina.
As for the depiction of uberflack Leslie Sloane Zelnik as the
all-powerful "lady in black," Zelnik sniffed: "I appreciate that he
feels my power is that strong when it comes to his daughter, but he
should give Lindsay all the credit. She thinks for herself and does
what she wants."
