Chris Isaak Drives Girlfriend The Wrong Way

Chris Isaak's love life has gone to pot because of his work schedule. The
singer now juggles a successful talk show with studio work and promoting new
albums across the States. But the 16 hour daily grind is costing him his social
life and driving away his girlfriend.
He admits, "I talk to my girlfriend, and the thing I hear is, 'You're never
here.' I don't blame her. Would you rather have me describe a beautiful car to
you or have a car right there that you can drive every day?"
Isaak, who used to date Anna And The King star Bai Ling, is keeping quiet on
who his current beau is. (WENN)

If he'd been with Joan Chen, I'd have hung a garland around his neck. Joan is
not only beautiful, but a wonderful actress (and director) and full of class.
That Bai is like one of those yappy dogs that never shuts up.

It's been a while... but she was the side kick to the bad guy (who had
beautiful straight long hair tho...and wore gloves--I love gloves..argh..bad
guys..sigh..)...I remember her most for her horrible and over-lined red
lipstick in the movie...she looked horrible... and tried to act so ultra-goth
and "bad"... she was just awful in that role.
That movie, sad in the end as it is, was a neat visual treat...not to mention
Brandon Lee, yum.
Tidbit: the guy who took over the Draven character in The Crow tv show was
recently seen as Mani in The Brotherhood of the Wolf...yummy there too... ;)
I love the movie The Crow though... it is sad...for the obvious reason as well
as the storyline...and Brandon Lee kicked ass as Eric Draven...had to like
him...

i thought he did date joan chen at one time, like about ten years ago. maybe i
made that up. i guess i could just be connecting them via "twin peaks".

I think she is really ugly and dresses like a skanky ho. I'd much
rather see Joan, or Michelle Yeoh, or Gong Li, or the younger actress
in Crouching Tiger. Even Lucy Liu. Anyone else but Bai Ling....ugh!!
And for someone who really hasn't done anything of note, she must have
a hell of a publicist because I swear, she appears in almost every
issue of magazines like InStyle.

I can't stand Bai Ling either. She seems obnoxious and mentally unstable. If
you saw the first episode of the Chris Isaak show, she basically played
herself. What a nutcase. And I agree with what you said about Bai Ling's
publicist working overtime...Bai keeps being spotlighted in magazines as some
sort of fashion plate, even though she has horrible style and she's not even
famous enough for the average celebrity watcher to care about her. Joan Chen is
much prettier and has much more class.
Someone asked if Chris Isaak dated Joan. I'm pretty sure he did, but I'm not
100% sure. I know of at least 5 women whom Chris has dated for sure (some of
them aren't famous) and they're all Asian. I'm not saying all the women he
dates are Asian but it seems like that's his preference. I know he had a fling
with Helena Christensen when she did the "Wicked Game" video with him, so it's
clear that he goes for exotic-looking women.
