BACKSTREET BOY A.J. McLean took a teenage fan's virginity and then rolled over
and went back to sleep, the teen claims.
"I felt disgusted with myself the minute I left the room," disillusioned
groupie Stella Galvan, now 17, told Star.
"I realized right then that what I had done was wrong and I didn't want to be a
part of that.
"It wasn't as if it was fun. As a lover I'd give A.J. no more than five out of
ten." Stella's disappointing brush with fame came last year during the band's
London tour.
The starstruck teen came to the posh Langham Hilton hotel, hoping to get an
autograph and a kiss from her idol McLean, 23.
Galvan, an art student at Croydon College in South London, sat down in the
five-star hotel's lobby, and casually ordered a cocktail in an attempt to look
older, she says.
"There were about 20 other Backstreet fans hanging around waiting for A.J., but
by the time it hit midnight all of them had gone home to bed."
At about 1 a.m., her heartthrob, who is dating pop newcomer Anastacia and
insists he's faithful to his girlfriends, finally walked in with a security
guard.
"He looked fantastic in a white vest top and jeans with studs down the side,"
Galvan recalls. "I went up to him and introduced myself.
After a few drinks at the hotel bar, A.J., who has admitted to an alcohol
problem in past interviews, invited the wide-eyed teen to his $1,000-a-night
penthouse suite.
"He had this suite with a lounge and a TV," Galvan says. "The place was a mess,
with clothes everywhere.
"When he wasn't looking, I shoved a pair of socks and underwear in my bag as
souvenirs.
"I even got him to autograph a leather Hilton binder on the desk. We were
having a good laugh and A.J. kept getting up and dancing to the music.
"He was drunk and was bouncing around all over the place. At one point, his
bodyguard popped in and agreed to take photos of us with my camera."
But soon the multi-millionaire's thoughts turned to sex and without asking he
put on a hard-core pornography video, she claims.
"It came as a big shock," Galvan says. "It was the first porn film I'd seen and
it didn't turn me on. I was surprised someone like A.J. would be into stuff
like that.
"While he was watching, I switched on my cellphone and called a friend.
Luckily, after a while, A.J. got the hint and turned off the video and we sat
together on the couch, talking. Eventually he leaned over and kissed me.
"It was really passionate, but after less than five minutes he stopped and
asked point blank if I wanted to have sex.
"I had had no intentions of sleeping with him. I just wanted to spend some time
with him and get to know him better. I was still a virgin, so having sex was a
big deal."
But within minutes, they were on the bed kissing and cuddling.
"He was playing with my hair and then we took turns undressing," she confides.
"I was really body-conscious at the time, so while he popped into the other
room I quickly took my underwear off under the covers and left them in a pile
by the bed.
"He was more comfortable and took off his jeans and underwear in front of me.
But he had no reason to be that proud.
"He was kind of rough, and the whole thing was painful. But I couldn't bring
myself to tell him."
Afterward, an awkward silence filled the room. "Neither of us had much to say,"
she says.
"He drifted off to sleep, but I got a call from my mom demanding to know where
I was, and it woke him up. When I admitted I was at the hotel with A.J. she was
furious and said she was coming to pick me up. I told her I would get a taxi
instead.
"A.J. looked worried for a second and asked how old I was. I told him I was 19
and he quickly fell asleep again."
The second Galvan walked out of the room, she knew she had made a terrible
mistake.
"I felt used and knew I should have said no," she says.
"I'm not going to say it was all his fault as I had the power to say no, but
when you're in that position it's very hard to say no to your idol.
"I know A.J. is the rebel in the group, but I don't think he should treat fans
like that."

I thought I told this story before, but maybe it was in ACF. I went to see
*NSync in New Orleans last summer. The day of the concert I "discovered" the
mini-bar in my hotel room, then the hotel bar, then the bars between my hotel
and the Superdome. I got to the concert, watched one of the opening acts (Pink
or Sisquo, they were bothe there), and got up to get another beer, when I was
arrested for public intoxication. Spent about three hours in Superdome jail.
They let me out when the concert was done.
