I was looking at a picture of the three girls with Ashton and Demi, and bless
their hearts. Mom and Dad are attractive, but not only do they have wierd
names, they look kind of strange also.

I seem to recall Joan Lunden's kids --when I saw a picture a decade or so
ago -- looking a little like Gene Shalit (and I think they were girls). Tori
Spelling also comes to mind. It's pretty funny when celebs -- who've been
surgically reworked to the point where not one square inch of skin or hair
resembles what was there originally--have kids who are born with the
features dictated by their parents' DNA. Of course in LA these kids will
often be surgically during their mid-teen years so they do, ultimately, wind
up looking like Mom and Dad.

But look at their ages. A lot of beautiful women didn't flower until
their late teens. How great did you look at 12?

Granted, celebrities are fair game, but why don't you show a little decency and
not disparage the looks of their children? That can be particularly hurtful to
girls (and boys) in their formative years.

I saw a picture of Bette Midler's daughter years ago and the poor kid
was not photogenic. Actually, she looked almost two dimensional.
Hopefully, she's grown into her looks.

think it's the middle one with the short brown hair.

She does look good there. I don't see the big deal about Christie Brinkley
though so.....lol.
I do find the Willis/Moore girls very unattractive - for now. They may grow

My choice for homliest children of celebrities are Bobbi Kristina

After she had plastic surgery of course. She was a homely kid before then.
She's still got those weird fish eyes though.

I don't know if anyone mentioned Jamie Lee Curtis, Carrie Fisher or any of
Elizabeth Taylor's kids but I think they are perfect examples of genetics
turning on the children of gorgeous parents.

Well, Jamie Lee Curtis isn't as lovely as her father was, but then, few
women are. I don't think she's bad looking, nor is Carrie Fisher,
especially considering *her* father. I don't remember seeing pictures of
Taylor's children.

Someone mentioned the Demi Moore/Bruce Willis children. I know it's
impolite to say so, but the oldest girl has a chin like Jay Leno's.

Someone else mentioned Britney Spears's future stepdaughter, said "she fell
from the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down." I confess -- I
thought the same thing, but didn't have the heart to say so.

(I don't spend all that much time criticizing the appearance of innocent
children. Really.)

But Jamie Lee's daughter is adopted, so genetics don't enter into it.

She's only 2 though, and her mother is very pretty, so it's too early to
tell.

(And after all the Olson Twins - who I always thought looked just like
troll dolls as small children - have turned into presentable young
women, eating disorders notwithstanding.)

Jamie's Mother was gorgeous (Janet Leigh) and had a drop-dead body which
Jamie obviously inherited. With Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh for parents,
how she ended up with that horse-face is beyond comprehension.

I agree. If Tori was just some random college girl drinking Coronas in
a beach bar at the Jersey shore, *plenty* of people would think she was
a nice, cute, bubbly girl. BUT because she's Tori SPELLING she somehow
has to meet this whole other standard of beauty which she, like 99.9% of
the female population, is unable to meet. She seems to be happy living
her life without a.g.c's approval, so I guess she doesn't need our help!

Hmmm, well, Jamie Lee at least got an incredible figure and many men find
her very hot, and Carrie Fisher was cute when she was young. I don't know
any of Liz's kids. Melanie Griffith is not as pretty as her mom, either.
Who is as pretty as her mom? Well, at least Kate Hudson is every bit as
pretty as her mom.

Huh? Jamie Lee isn't adopted, so what is your point? She is genetically
Tony Curtis's daughter. Jamie Lee isn't as gorgeous as Tony Curtis used to
be -- but then who is? She's a lot more balanced than he is -- that's for
sure.

That's true -- and she's not mean -- in fact, she's quite the opposite of
mean, if my friend is to be believed (and I don't know why she wouldn't be).
My friend said that TS was very friendly and considerate -- and she worked
with her all day on a 90210 ep, so that is what she bases it on (not much --
but more than most).

Yes she had a great figure ( enhanced with breast implants). I was talking
about her face though.

I never thought Carrie Fisher was cute - just average. Her mother was the cute
one - still is IMO. Although I noticed that as she's getting older, Carrie is
looking more like her mother which is a good thing. Having Eddie Fisher for a
father her odds of being a troll was high. But she's OK. Not ugly just average.
Even though the daughters he had with Connie Stevens turned out to be quite
pretty.

Yes, I know Elizabeth Taylor has one adopted daughter. I was referring to her

Who? Jamie Lee? Jamie Lee's breasts are real. Trust me -- I know from
fake breasts. Those lovelies she showed in Trading Places are 100% real.
Here's a link. This is what real breasts look like.

Can you see the difference? When you have seen the zillions of real and

it becomes quite easy to spot the difference.

Whitney and Bobby's kid has been a chunkster since she was very little. I
remember her on Oprah when she was barely three years old and she was quite
hefty.

What I want to know is why does Maddox, Angelina Jolie's kid always need to
have a haircut like a little Punk Rocker? I've *never* seen a photo of him
where his hair did not look totally obnoxious.

Anybody ever seen Barbara Walter's adopted daughter? Good God! She's an
Amazon! She's soooooo tall. I knew she was adopted right away before even
being told. She's a million feet taller than her mom. Not really a homely
girl, though. Long haired redhead gal. She's just SUUUUUPER tall and looks
funny standing next to her short little mom.

I think that Melissa Rivers has got to be one of the homliest kids of a
celebrity. Edgar, her father (Dead...committed suicide) was icky looking,
too.

Got to admit that Chastity Bono, Sonny & Cher's kid is really unattractive,
too. Wasn't bad looking as a small little girl on their show, though. Kinda'
cute with her pudgy cheeks and pigtails way back then. Too bad she never
outgrew all of the facial baby fat, though.

One of the *BEST* looking celeb kids ever had to have been Bruce Lee's
deceased son Brandon. What a looker. Damn, that guy was hot.

Yes, they both have great figures but I just don't find Kate as pretty as

Jennifer Grant--child of Cary Grant and Dyan Cannon. I believe that
those wonderful genes have come together in a most attractive way.

She definitely grew out of it. There were pics of her in NE a couple
of months ago when she graduated from high school. Bodywise, she
definitely got Nicole's genes. She's tall, slender and very pretty.

*Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf's son Jaden is beautiful.
*Frances Bean Cobain is beautiful, took after her father completely.
*Saw a recent picture of Bono's oldest daughter, Jordan, who is 15 and
she is gorgerous.
*Madonna's children.

On 19 Aug 2004 11:01:24 -0700, cjb...@hotmail.com (Stacey) squeezed
out the following:

Lisa Marie Presley's daughter - much lovelier than the mother, imho
Russ Tamblyn's daughter Amber
John Ritter's son
Cheryl Ladd's daughter
Diana's boys, especially Prince William
(yes, I'm bad with names!)

In article <BD497ECA.13C7%ot...@oceanside.com>, ot...@oceanside.com says...

She was attractive in a full-figured, strong-featured, Mediterranean style.
Her first husband, Joe Bolker, didn't know who she was when he met at (at a
Monte Carlo swimming pool), and described her as a "pretty girl, good
swimmer".

(from one the biographies of her; don't remember which)

So what newsgroup do you think I think I'm in?? I know for *sure* it's
not alt.tori.spelling.puke.puke.vomit, so why can't I find her cute,
albeit in an offbeat kind of way?

just curious, eggs.

No joke, she is a knockout. I think Will and Jada's kids, Jaden and
Willow, are gorgeous.

Interesting that most of the comments on this thread are about female
children.

In any event, thank heavens all OUR children are perfectly gorgeous.
Whew! I may be ugly, fat, stupid, poor, and unsuccessful myself, but
at least my kids are da bomb!

Now I feel MUCH better about myself. You?

Ok, I'll post about somebody's son if it'll please you. I think that Meg
Ryan and Dennis Quaid's son always has a bad haircut. In every picture.

I'd say Lisa Marie's daughter and Princess Caroline's kids.

Danny Devito's kids. I feel bad saying that!!

Also, Bobbi Christina is something I haven't quite figured out yet.
She doesn't seem like she could be Whit's kid.

And I notice that Demi's oldest child has the same cross-eyed problem
that Demi had when she was a teenager. Seriously, Demi was cross-eyed
in high school and eventually had to get her eyes fixed somehow. The
oldest one has the same problem. I wonder if that's heriditary.

Not the same thing. She had a veering off to the side Lazy Eye that was
fixed. It actually veered *away from* her nose and not towards it.
Cross-eyed is different. Cross-eyes go toward the nose. I saw a documentary
about The Brat Pack recently and that's how it was described.
