Nothing says legality like performing with scantily clad women.
Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 21st birthday by taking to the Pussycat Dolls
stage in Las Vegas as the clock struck midnight early Monday, Oct. 3,
reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Sister Jessica Simpson and brother-in-law Nick Lachey were present to
witness the proud moment, which was documented for MTV's "Ashlee Simpson
Love and Legal." Afterwards, she and her pals took the party to Pure, the
Caesar's Palace nightclub.
Now finally the younger Simpson can legally drink and gamble to her heart's
content, after years of trying to pass herself off as her older sibling.
"I used to use my sister's ID, which is really lame. They were like,
'Jessica Simpson ... You're Jessica Simpson?' And then I used to have one
that said, 'Luanne,'" says the singer.
After last year's lip-synching incident, the acid reflux-inflicted singer
will try to redeem herself on the upcoming episode of "Saturday Night Live"
on Oct. 8, hosted by "Napoleon Dynamite" star Jon Heder. She recently
appeared on the big screen in the critically panned "Undiscovered."
